I remember reading something many years ago that kinda supported


this thought. I wouldn't say "pound for pound," but for sheer endurance...

Again, I wouldn't be able to quote the source, but clearly men are better at sprints, middle distance and even marathons (look at the records and averages of the elite).

But when you get to "hey, let's run 70 miles today, or 100", then that's where women CAN beat the guys on average.
